Mr. and Mrs. Vernis Kirkman

Vernis and Rosabelle Kirkman, Kokomo, are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary.

Vernis and the former Rosabelle Crites were married May 2, 1948, in the home of the bride’s grandparents, William P. and Flora Belle Gillam, by the Rev. E.W. Hamilton.

Vernis is retired from Humphrey Printing Company and Green Acres Golf Course. Rosabelle is retired from First National Bank.

The couple has two children, Ramona Duncan, Kokomo, and Charles Kirkman, Kokomo. They also have three grandchildren, one late grandson, and three great-grandchildren.
