Mr. and Mrs. Bill Newburn

Bill and Wilma Newburn, Kokomo, are celebrating their 64th wedding anniversary with a trip at a later date.

Bill and the former Wilma Tomlinson were married June 11, 1944, in the home of the bride’s parents, by the Rev. Carl Isaac.

Bill served in the U.S. Navy from 1943 to 1946 and retired from construction after more than 60 years of service. Wilma retired from Delco.

The couple has four children, Kathy and David Turner, Westview; Barbara and Dale Hensen, Kokomo; William Jr. and Gina Newburn, Kokomo; and the Rev. Jim and Sherri Lynn Ball, Kokomo. The couple also has 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
