Gov. Daniels is winning another one for business. While he recently had officials from six counties traveling south to Indianapolis asking for increased state income and/or sales tax, or both, he is wining.
There is a lot of talk about eliminating property taxes. I agree that something needs to be done, but to eliminate them entirely makes no sense to me.
