Mr. and Mrs. Donald Heiny

Donald D. and Shirley Heiny, Idaville, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house for friends and family from 2 to 5 p.m. May 31 at the Monticello Armory on Tiago Street in Monticello. There will also be square and round dancing. Your love is a treasured gift, andthe couple requests no other.

Donald and the former Shirley Best were married June 1, 1958, at Caley United Methodist Church near Royal Center, by the Rev. Bob Bonewitz.

Donald is a semi-retired carpenter, and Shirley was a banker and homemaker. They are former owners of Spring Hills Campground near Kokomo. They have square and round danced for 32 years, and have been round dance leaders and instructors for 31 years.

The past eight years, they have spent their winter months in Harlingen, Texas.

The couple has two children, Mark, Burnettsville, and Teresa Wilslef, Idaville. They have four grandchildren, Kevin, Kim, Dean and Brianna.
