SLIDE SHOW: Brass Monkey Brewing Co.

Brass Monkey Brewing Company is opening in the Sycamore Marketplace on Friday, May 23. Homebrewing aficionado and Kokomo local Andrew Lewis is taking the next step by applying his two years of brewing experience and brewing for thirsty beer lovers.

Lewis will be brewing several year-around beers along with a rotating schedule of seasonal and specialty beers. Lewis' beers run the gamut; from light beers with hints of fruit well suited for the upcoming summer months to thicker, dark beers that will keep one warm on a cold night.

Tribune photojournalist Erik Markov visited the brewery to see Lewis in action as he brewed on weekends and late into the night to provide enough beer for his grand opening.
