Blake M. Barker

May 6, 1991 - July 7, 2008

Blake M. Barker, 17, Reelesville, passed away Monday, July 7, 2008, at Riley Hospital. He was born May 6, 1991, in Kokomo to Vance M. and Joyce (Morgan) Barker.

He was a student at South Putman High School. Blake was a member of the high school band, had played baseball for the Reelesville Youth League and enjoyed hunting and collecting knives.

Blake is survived by his parents; a sister, Ashlee Barker, at home; and a grandmother, Donna Barker, Cherokee Village, Ark.

He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Tom Barker; grandmother, Elsie Watters; and an uncle, James Morgan.

Funeral services are 3 p.m. Thursday at Bowling Green United Methodist. The Rev. Melinda Huffman will officiate. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Bowling Green. The family will receive friends at the church two hour prior to the service.
