Howard County arrests

Monday, 3:25 p.m., deputies arrested David Byrd, 40, on a warrant for domestic violence battery.

Monday, 3:45 p.m., police arrested Steven R. Alger, 25, 700 block of Philadelphia Drive, in the 1200 block of Maplewood Drive, on a warrant for failure to appear for fees hearing.

Monday, 3:53 p.m., police arrested a 14-year-old female in the 800 block of East Hoffer Street on a charge of incorrigibility.

Monday, 7:46 p.m., police arrested Launden G. Luckett, 20, Chicago, at Armstrong and Firmin streets, on a charge of never obtaining a driver’s license.

Monday, 8:02 p.m., police arrested two 17-year-old females and a 16-year-old female at Wal-Mart, 1920 E. Markland Ave., each on a charge of conversion.

Monday, 8:43 p.m., deputies arrested Natasha McCoy, 24, on a body attachment warrant.

Monday, 8:48 p.m., police arrested Kelly S. Crouch, 40, 1300 block of South Locke Street, at Meijer, 2301 E. Markland Ave., on a charge of theft.

Tuesday, 1:16 a.m., police arrested Steven J. Reed, 27, 300 block of South Berkley Road, in the 1100 block of South Union Street, on charges of theft and trespass.

Tuesday, 4:20 a.m., police arrested Richard McClung, 33, 600 block of East Taylor Street, at Longview and Taylor streets, on a Grant County body attachment warrant.

Tuesday, 4:39 a.m., police arrested Jeffrey A. Carr, 25, 1000 block of East Monroe Street, at Main and North streets, on a charge of driving while suspended.

Tuesday, 2:56 p.m., police arrested Alisia Pelfree, 23, 1600 block of East Firmin Street, at that residence, on warrants for forgery and fraud.

Tuesday, 5:20 p.m., police arrested Elizabeth A. Jordan, 28, 2600 block of Cedar Run, at the Kokomo Police Department, on warrants for forgery and fraud.

Tuesday, 7:40 p.m., police arrested Joseph Barton, 41, 200 block of South Cooper Street, at Broadway and Indiana streets, on a charge of public intoxication.

Tuesday, 7:52 p.m., police arrested Brett A. Patton, 37, 600 block of West Monroe Street, in the 600 block of North Washington Street, on charges of attempted theft, public intoxication and resisting law enforcement.

Tuesday, 9:07 p.m., police arrested Michael L. Campbell, 40, 2600 south block of 700 East, at Taylor and Bell streets, on a charge of driving while suspended.

Wednesday, 2:07 a.m., police arrested Clinton D. Holmes, 26, Lafayette, at Ohio and Monroe streets, on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, implied consent and habitual traffic violator.

Thefts

Monday, 7:11 p.m., a Windfall resident reported the theft of a 1996 green Jeep Cherokee valued at $3,000 from the 300 block of West Park Avenue.

Tuesday, 11:50 a.m., a resident of the 800 block of Witherspoon Drive, reported the theft of a Phillips stereo, a DVD player with surround sound and a flat screen TV from that residence.

Tuesday, 2:19 p.m., Eastside Little League, 1702 E. Vaile Ave., reported the theft of an amplifier, a CD player/radio, a microphone and a keyboard for the scoreboard from that facility.

Tuesday, 4:21 p.m., a resident of the 1600 block of Northview Boulevard reported the theft of a 1995 maroon Cadillac Eldorado.

Tuesday, 7:15 p.m., Elvies, 1300 W. Mulberry St., reported the theft of a 24-inch amber-colored glass smoking device valued at $303 from that business.
