Howard County arrests

Wednesday, 5:30 p.m., police arrested an 8-year-old male in the 600 block of West Jackson Street on a charge of incorrigibility.

Thursday, 4:57 a.m., deputies arrested Amanda Eshelman, 23, Elwood, in the 800 block of East Sycamore Street, on a warrant for driving while suspended.

Thursday, 9:27 a.m., deputies arrested Ross Chandler, 28, Sharpsville, at Ohio and Jefferson streets, on a charge of driving while suspended.

Thursday, 3:53 p.m., police arrested Kevin King, 27, 800 block of East Hoffer Street, at that residence, on a body attachment warrant.

Thursday, 5:50 p.m., police arrested Jesse Ray Likens, 42, 8400 block of Apperson Way North, at U.S. 31 and Gano Street, on a charge of possession of marijuana.

Thursday, 8:03 p.m., police arrested Jeanette K. Bradley, 22, 1500 block of West Markland Avenue, in the 900 block of South Washington Street, on a charge of driving while suspended.

Thursday, 8:05 p.m., police arrested William Thompson, 23, 400 block of West Mulberry Street, at that residence, on warrants for possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.

Thursday, 9:54 p.m., police arrested Jerry Riddle, 37, 1100 block of Teepee Drive, in the 2700 block of South Washington Street, on a charge of theft.

Thursday, 11:20 p.m., police arrested Blake S. Harris, 18, 1900 block of South Park Road, in the 1600 block of Cherry Hill Lane, on charges of resisting law enforcement and illegal consumption of alcohol.

Thursday, 11:42 p.m., deputies arrested Cindy Jo McCartney, 40, 900 block of North Armstrong Street, at that residence, on a warrant for check deception.

Thursday, 11:48 p.m., police arrested Arlious R. Owens, 32, 1000 block of South Elizabeth Street, at Taylor and Main streets, on a charge of driving while suspended and a warrant for attempted possession of a controlled substance.

Friday, 3:12 a.m., police arrested Lentez Ellis, 32, Indianapolis, at Madison and Purdum streets, on charges of driving while suspended, resisting law enforcement with a a vehicle and two body attachment warrants.

Thefts

Monday, 8 a.m., a resident of the 3100 block of Susan Drive reported the theft of a JVC camcorder valued at $454 from a residence in the 1300 block of North Morrison Street.

Monday, 9:03 a.m., Speedway, 930 S. Washington St., reported the theft of a rack of Bic lighters valued at $275.

Monday, 11:27 p.m., a resident of the 600 block of West Sycamore Street reported the theft of two iPods and 10 X-Box games valued at $550.

Monday, 1 p.m., a resident of the 1700 block of North Indiana Street reported the theft of wedding rings, a Fuji camera and necklaces from that residence.

Tuesday, 2:55 p.m., a resident of the 800 block of West Monroe Street reported the theft of $1,000 worth of house siding from a residence in the 500 block of East Havens Street.

Tuesday, 7:16 p.m., Huston Electric, 1915 E. North St., reported the theft of an unknown amount of copper wire.

Thursday, 2:36 p.m., a Peru resident reported the theft of a VCR-DVD player, several DVDs and a porcelain mask from a residence in the 800 block of South Market Street.

Thursday, 7:55 p.m., a resident of the 800 block of Harvest Drive reported the theft of a DVD player and speakers and a IAWA radio and CD player valued at $500.
