Mr. and Mrs. Austin Rhodus (Amanda Hodges)

Austin Eli Herman Rhodus and Amanda Lauren Hodges were married at 3 p.m. May 27, 2008, in Kokomo, by Mona Myers.

Austin is the son of Terry and Sandy Rhodus. He graduated from Tri-Central High School in 2007 and entered the U.S. Navy in October 2007. He will serve the next 41/2 years on a Navy submarine.

Amanda is the daughter of Lona and Scott Black, Brandon, Miss., and Tommy and Pam Hodges, Itta Bena, Miss. She graduated from Northeast Lauderdale High School, Meridian, Miss., in 2005, and from Hinds Community College, Rankin, Miss., in 2007. She is employed as a medical assistant.

After the wedding, the couple resides in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
