Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Geisz (Christen Prather)

Eugene Peter Geisz and Christen Gail Prather were married at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 8, 2007, in Grace United Methodist Church by the Rev. Stephen Beutler.

Christen is the daughter of Dr. Tom and Pam Prather, Kokomo. She graduated from Kokomo High School in 1999, from Indiana University in 2004 and from the University of Indianapolis with her doctor of physical therapy. She is employed at Wishard Hospital, Indianapolis.

Eugene is the son of Patricia Losh, Shelby Township, Mich., and Eugene Geisz, St. Clair Shores, Mich. He gradated from L’anse Creuse High School in 1999 and from Western Michigan University in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. He is employed in technical sales in the aeronautic division of PPG, Indianapolis.

The matron of honor was Valerie Merriman, college friend; bridesmaids were Sally Shonk, childhood friend, and Stacey Spence and Andrea Conrad, college friends. The best man was Brad Howes, childhood friend; Blake Prather, brother of the bride, Ben Merriman, college friend, Brian Newman, childhood friend; ushers were Blair Littrell, family friend, and André Vaughn, family friend; greeter was Alison Littrell, family friend.

After a wedding trip to Maui, Hawaii, the couple resides in Noblesville.
