Mr. and Mrs. Corey McGarrell (Amanda Hopper)

Corey Edmund McGarrell and Amanda Jane Hopper were married at 5:30 p.m. June 29, 2007, at Union Chapel Methodist Church, Indianapolis, by the Rev. Steven Rasmussen. A reception followed at the Riverwalk, Indianapolis.

He is the son of Ed and Donna McGarrell, East Lansing, Mich. He graduated from Roncalli High School in 1998 and from Indiana University in 2002. He is a social studies teacher and assistant football coach at Lawrence North High School, Indianapolis.

She is the daughter of Rex and Jane Ann Hopper, Kokomo. She graduated from Northwestern High School in 1998 and from Purdue University in 2002. She is a second-grade teacher at Tri-Central Elementary School, Sharpsville.

The maid of honor was Amy Cox; bridesmaids were Stephanie Lindley, Amanda Snobarger, Katie Anderson, Erin McGarrell and Tonya Simms; flowergirls were Brynne Hopper and McKayla Ramsey; best man was Ben Moser; groomsmen were Matt Buchmeier, Mike Mahoney, Matt Roller, Brian Hollingshead and T.C. Kidwell; and the ringbearer was A.J. Devine. Ushers were Nick and Josh Hopper.

After a honeymoon in Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple resides in Indianapolis.
